This package of documents is part of our Try it! support programme for teachers of English in Germany and Austria. Take your time reading and watching. The pdf-files are free to download.

Here is what you can find this month:

Write it! video where Simona proposes a three-step lesson plan that you can use from CEFR level B1 onwards, whether it’s General or Business English. The lesson focuses on improving students’ ability to organise their ideas and texts more effectively. Simona also shows in this video how you can find our rich, free-of-charge teaching resources on our website.

Lesson activities and teacher’s notes for CEFR levels B1, B2, and C1, with an extra lesson for Business English at B2-level. You can download and print out the activities, and use them in your next writing class.

Statistics on how well German and Austrian candidates score in the Writing papers of our B2 First and C1 Advanced exams, compared to the rest of the world. The statistics also provide a useful clue as to what areas our students are best at, along with those where they can still improve.
