Cambridge Assessment English and Kawaijuku Educational Institute have announced the formation of the Cambridge Assessment Japan Foundation, which aims to support effective language learning in Japan by increasing public awareness of the Cambridge English Qualifications and providing greater opportunities for people in Japan to take these internationally recognised examinations.
Ms Min Qu, Director of Cambridge Assessment English for East Asia, said: “Cambridge Assessment English is committed to helping people to learn English and prove their skills to the world. We are delighted that our close collaboration with Kawaijuku will allow many more people in Japan to gain internationally recognised English qualifications which will be useful throughout their lives.”
Mr. Hidenori Nobuzane, Board member of Kawaijuku, said: “We have been working closely with Cambridge Assessment English for six years, and have introduced Cambridge English Qualifications to our students for the development and assessment of English. Our new collaboration with Cambridge will allow us to offer the benefits of these qualifications to many more students throughout Japan, contributing to the better future of English education in Japan.”
Kawaijuku Group have more than 100,000 students from pre-school children to adult learners at over 400 schools throughout Japan and offer Nationwide Standardised Practice Examination, the largest practice examination in Japan, to over 3 million high school students annually.
