Welcome to the Correct it! module.
This package of documents is part of our Try it! support programme for teachers of English in Germany and Austria. Take your time reading and listening. The documents are free to download.
Here is what you can find this month:
Correct it! lesson plan with classroom activities, focusing on a Key Word Transformation Use of English task at CEFR level B2. The key word transformation task and the activities in this material are suitable for general teaching and learning purposes, whether or not your students wish to prepare for a Cambridge English exam.
You can view the material in the browser, but if you download it to your computer you can also listen to the audio guidance embedded in the document. Make sure that the sound on your computer is on, and you may wish to use your headphones. As an option, you can also listen to the audio file separately.
Christmas in Cambridge, an article about Christmas festivals specific to the well-known university town. We have inserted one-word gaps into the text, so you can use it with your students (the digital app is powered by LearningApps.com). Why don’t you try it yourself?
We hope it will be a nice read in the weeks before Christmas, as well as a fun classroom activity (you may wish to have the students do the task online, in a computer lab).
If you wish to print it out, you can download it here.
