Cambridge English Qualifications Business (BEC)

The BEC suite of exams, comprising B1 Business Preliminary (BEC Preliminary), B2 Business Vantage (BEC Vantage) and C1 Business Higher (BEC Higher), will continue to be available in China but will be discontinued in all other countries. BEC has been replaced by Linguaskill Business and Cambridge English Qualifications General & Higher Education.

Our BEC suite of exams were designed to help learners prove that they have the English language skills needed in a business environment. The content for each exam was based on everyday work and business tasks. There are three qualifications (B1 Business Preliminary, B2 Business Vantage and C1 Business Higher), with each targeting a different level of English. The qualifications are still recognised by leading businesses and universities around the world.
