To be discontinued in December 2016

As part of our regular review of the assessment services which we provide, we have decided that the last Cambridge English: Financial (ICFE) exam sessions will be in December 2016. We are giving extensive notice of this change so that you won’t be affected if you’ve already started a preparation course.

We recommend Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) as the best alternative to Cambridge English: Financial. Targeted at CEFR Level C1, it assesses the language skills required by professionals in the workplace and is recognised by more than 6,000 universities, businesses, government departments and other organisations around the world. We also offer Cambridge English: Business Higher (BEC Higher), which tests an advanced level of English in a professional context.

Alternatives targeted at CEFR Level B2 include Cambridge English: First (FCE) and Cambridge English: Business Vantage (BEC Vantage).

Cambridge English: Financial is a high-level English language exam for accountancy and finance professionals.

The exam gives an in-depth assessment of your ability to work in a financial context. The exam uses real-life finance and accounting situations and covers all four language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking.
