Cambridge Assessment English has teamed up with the game-based learning platform Kahoot! to develop quiz-based games for people who want to improve their English skills for the workplace. Cambridge English kahoots for work will help adult learners practise their professional communication skills by focussing on relevant real-world workplace conversations.
The new games will combine the popular, engaging quiz-based activities from Kahoot! with Cambridge’s expertise in English language learning. Language learners will be able to access this bite-sized content from the 7th of June.
Players can explore a range of rich, memorable, real-world workplace conversations, and practise key language in context. ‘We’ve developed these games so they’re a fun way of learning relevant English skills for the workplace. It’s great that there is so much choice nowadays in what we learn and how we learn, but it can be really hard to find high-quality, enjoyable resources which fit in with busy lifestyles’ says Belinda Cerdá, Head of Digital Partnerships.
Cambridge English kahoots for work integrate language learning with core skills for the workplace. They help learners check what they know, develop their skills and increase confidence. ‘It’s exciting to take this next step in our partnership with Cambridge English’ said Craig Narveson, Director of Strategic Partnerships at Kahoot! ‘Soft skills have never been more important, and it’s great to see these included within the English language kahoots - offering a fun and engaging way for adult learners to see how they're doing with both their English and other core skills for work.’
