The Cambridge English exams have been recognised by the Ministry of Public Education in Mexico.
Back in November Cambridge University Press & Assessment signed an agreement with The National Council for Standardization and Certification of Labor Skills (CONOCER), which is part of the Ministry of Public Education in Mexico. The agreement forms a new management committee that aims to increase opportunities for employers, workers and educators to improve their English language skills. It’s part of a wider commitment in Mexico to increase English language skills in line with international standards.
The Committee's purpose is to establish a nationally recognised reference and certification framework for English competencies, based on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). People will be encouraged to take one of the Cambridge English exams at levels B1 to C2, a Teaching Knowledge Test or Linguaskill.
Successful candidates will be presented with two certificates, one from Cambridge University Press & Assessment and one from Conocer.
