It’s now easier than ever for international students with Cambridge English Qualifications to apply for US universities.
From 1 August Cambridge English Qualifications are included in the Common App, an online system used by hundreds of thousands of domestic and international students applying for US universities. This means students applying to university using the Common App can now easily showcase their Cambridge English Qualifications such as C1 Advanced and B2 First.
‘It’s fantastic that Cambridge English will be included in the Common App, as it will create so many opportunities for international students planning to study in the US,’ commented Nicola Jonhson, Head of Global Recognition at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. She continued: ‘We design the Cambridge English Qualifications so they cover the English language skills that students need for success. The inclusion of our exams in the Common App will mean that universities in the US will be able to reach a wider, more diverse pool of applicants.’
More than 25,000 organisations around the world rely on Cambridge English exams as proof of English language ability, including leading US institutions such as Yale University, Stanford University, Columbia University, and many more. Cambridge English exams are designed to test the real-life communication skills that people need for success.
