73 new organisations started recognising Cambridge English exams between March and April. They join a growing list of more than 25,000 organisations around the world that rely on Cambridge English as proof of English language ability. This includes universities, employers, and governments.
“It’s fantastic to welcome new recognising organisations for Cambridge English exams in the last two months”, commented Nicola Jonhson Head of Global Recognition at Cambridge University Press & Assessment. She continued: “Cambridge English exams are designed to test the real-life communication skills that people need for success. Our growing recognition means that people can use their Cambridge certificate to prove their English language skills in even more organisations around the world”.
Recognition highlights from March and April include:
- Comisión Nacional de los Mercados y la Competencia, Spain – CELTA, DELTA and TKT, as well as B2 First, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency, Linguaskill and IELTS for recruitment.
- Dundee International Institute of Central South University (DIICSU), China - CELTA for recruitment.
- East Asia Institute of Management, Singapore – C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency and IELTS for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions.
- English Connection language schools,Spain – A2 Key, B1 Preliminary, B2 First, C1 Advanced, C2 Proficiency and Linguaskill, for recruitment and training.
- Guardia Civil, Spain – CELTA for training and development.
- Institute of Vegetable and Melon Growing, Ukraine – B2 First for undergraduate and postgraduate for admissions and graduation.
- Lindt, Spain – B2 First and C1 Advanced for recruitment.
- Ministry of Education – Vigo, Spain – B2 First, C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency for recruitment.
- Streamer Electric, China – B2 Business Vantage and C1 Business Higher and IELTS, for recruitment purposes.
- Universidad Cuauhtémoc campus Guadalajara, Mexico – All Cambridge English Qualifications, IELTS and Linguaskill for undergraduate and postgraduate admissions, as well as recognition for TKT, CELTA and DELTA for recruitment.
