Cambridge University Press & Assessment has produced a new video that explains the work that goes into delivering positive educational impact for learners and teachers of English.
Every year Cambridge helps millions of learners and teachers achieve their goals with English assessments and learning material. This places a big responsibility on our experts in Cambridge to ensure everything we do delivers real benefits for learners, teachers and more widely in society.
The animated video English Impact explains how we achieve this by developing English products with their intended impact in mind from the very start of the process and then, as the products are used by teaches and learners, carrying out impact monitoring and evaluation. This is all underpinned by the English Impact Framework, which has been developed in Cambridge to provide a solid research-based foundation for this work.
‘Our Impact Team has carried out studies all over the world with the aim of evaluating the impact our exams and learning materials have on people’s lives, and the results are generally very positive, while also highlighting areas that we can still improve’ said Graeme Harrison, Head of Impact Operations at Cambridge.
