Certificate in EMI Skills will be retiring on 31 October 2023. We are no longer accepting new courses and entries.
However, we will continue to provide support for the course until 31 July 2023.*
*Support for China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan will be available until 31 October 2023.
The process below describes the steps when setting up a Certificate in EMI Skills course for the first time. After that, each new course can usually start at step 2.
Includes the initial enquiry, information gathering, signing an agreement with Cambridge English and selecting a Local Course Administrator. This step can take up to two months.
In this phase, you select your trainers to deliver face-to-face training (if included), recruit course candidates, and confirm they meet the minimum requirements. This step can take up to one month.
This phase covers the delivery of the course, including online and face-to-face training. Courses usually run over two to five months.
