The Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE) has researched what language learners can typically do at each CEFR (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) level. They have described each level of ability using Can Do statements, with examples taken from everyday life. Cambridge English, as one of the founding members of ALTE, uses this framework to ensure our exams reflect real-life language skills.
Cambridge English: Business Certificates are rigorous and thorough tests of English at CEFR Levels B1, B2 and C1. They cover all four language skills – reading, writing, listening and speaking. The content of the exams is based on everyday work and business tasks, to ensure your employees can use English confidently.
