The Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education accepts C1 Advanced and C2 proficiency as entry requirements for international students into tertiary education (Diploma or Degree).

Asia School of Business in Malaysia is now accepting Cambridge English C1 Advanced and C2 Proficiency as one of the admission criteria to their MBA programme. The school is a partnership between the Central Bank of Malaysia and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Chung Ling Private High School, one of Malaysia’s most prestigious schools has formally adopted Cambridge English Qualifications as exit requirements for its students, as well as integrating Cambridge teaching qualifications as part of its professional development programme.
Currently, students at the school are expected to pass the B2 First exam by the end of their time at the school, with many going on to achieve C1 Advanced and even the elite C2 Proficiency qualification. Students taking the International General Certificate of Education are expected to achieve C1 Advanced.
